Cyprus Takes Part in Global Illegal Medicine Crackdown
Cyprus authorities seized over 5,000 illicit pharmaceutical products during the global crackdown on illegal medicine trade called Pangea XVI. The operation, supported by Interpol and other agencies, led to €6.5 million worth of drugs confiscated, 1,300 websites shut down, and 72 arrests.
