Cyprus Enhances Support for People with Disabilities
The Cyprus government, under Deputy Welfare Minister Marilena Evangelou, has launched a bold national strategy and action plan for 20242028 aimed at enhancing support for people with disabilities by tackling discrimination, improving access to essential services, and promoting inclusive education and employment. Unveiled at the Cyprus Confederation of Organisations of the Disabled (Kysoa) assembly, this comprehensive plan promises to empower individuals with disabilities and foster a more inclusive society throughout the island.
