The 22nd Cyprus Film Days International Festival ended with a bang at the Rialto Theatre in Limassol, featuring the premiere of “Africa Star” by Cypriot director Adonis Florides and awards handed out by an international jury. The festivities continued with a lively celebration at Heroes’ Square, where DJ Bon Bon’s music kept spirits high, marking a grand finale to an event that celebrated cinematic excellence in Cyprus.

The festival, held from April 1220 in venues like the Rialto Theatre in Limassol and Zena Palace in Nicosia, aims to preserve the traditional cinematic experience in an era dominated by digital streaming services.
Cypriot short films “Buffer Zone” and “Taxi” have garnered international acclaim, winning awards and being featured in prestigious film festivals like the European Independent Film Festival and the San Francisco Greek Film Festival.
