Seasonal Support for Social Welfare Beneficiaries

The social welfare deputy ministry has announced a special “Christmas gift” initiative to provide financial aid to welfare recipients during the holiday season. The initiative will benefit lowincome pensioners, families on minimum guaranteed income, mothers with many children, singleparent families, and others, with amounts ranging from 80% of basic December needs to a minimum of €100 per eligible recipient.
