Unficyp to light candles for peace

The United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (Unficyp) will mark the International Day of Peace at Ledra Palace, Exchange Gate, on Monday at 3pm, a statement from the UN said.

Unficyp commander, Major-General Kristin Lund, will be among those in attendance, along with World War II veterans and representatives of youth organisations.
