Stevie’s Restaurant & Bar

For happy nights filled with music, entertainment, good food and friends, then it is Stevie’s Restaurant & Bar Kucuk Erenkoy you should visit! There is always something going on, and it is famous for being the meeting point for Scandinavians, Britons and other northern Europeans who have chosen to settle in North Cyprus.

When Stevie came to Cyprus on holiday for the first time, eleven years ago, it was immediately clear that it was here he would move. He put the pubs he owned in England up for sale, and along with his wife Linda, he steered the wagon from south London to the Turkish Cypriot coastal village. They opened Stevie’s Restaurant & Bar who was among the first restaurants in the area. Since then much has happened and today the coastline has become the most attractive location for international property buyers with several large holiday residential and tourist facilities. A wide range of restaurants has popped up, but Stevie’s is the place where guests feel most at home, there is no doubt. As one of the visitors describes for us smiling from the bar: “Stevie’s is like our second living room”.

The other guests, who know Stevie well, nod in agreement. It’s a warm summer evening and we sit around a big table outside on the terrace that is framed by clinging vines. The sun has just gone down and invited us to a dramatic spectacle of the sea. Stevie sits with us at the table and tells us about the various activities that are regularly organised. BBQ evenings are very popular, just like quiz nights. Every weekend has live performances with musicians coming to play. On Fridays tribute singers come to perform, including Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars. It regularly organises fundraising evenings with entertainment where the money goes to various charitable projects. It also hosts private parties and sports evenings.

One of the guests adds that it is often a social event coming to Stevie’s Restaurant & Bar, and there is always something to celebrate, for example, one usually acknowledges the British Queen’s birthday. The auctions are very popular. It is an event that is from day to evening where you can come and bargain furniture and other object for the household. A perfect way for those who are new in Cyprus to find furniture for the home or for those who will be moving it is an easy way to get rid of things.

Looking at the reviews on TripAdvisor, they have only good things to say about Stevie’s Restaurant & Bar. “Stevie and his staff make everyone feel welcome and become part of a big family”, “Excellent Fish and Chips, and wonderful owners, a restaurant we highly recommend and will return to”, ”We always visit Stevie’s when we’re in North Cyprus, and the place seems to go from strength to strength. The service is friendly and well organised, the food is never less than excellent, and he gets the best entertainment in the area”, are some of the comments from guests.

The restaurant has an a la carte menu and the food is very popular with a chef who has worked here since day one. In the bar it is international drinks that apply. Stevie’s Restaurant & Bar is a popular place for the whole family and there is also a children’s menu for the little ones.
