Singing for Akamas

Limassol will be once again the centre of great celebrations on Sunday when a number of bands and DJs will perform at the amphitheatre of Molos in the Singing for Akamas festival.

The event, organised by Cyprus Natural Coastline, Limassol Initiative for Akamas and Save Akamas/Save Cyprus, is a part of an ongoing attempt by environmental organisations to protect the Akamas area and turn it into a National Park.

Included in the long list of performers will be the Windcraft Band, Trio Frission, Haji Mike, Zilla Project, Monsieur Doumani and TriCoolOre.

You can expect lots of jazz tunes from TriCoolOre, a three-piece boy band. These guys are also very much on their way to bigger and better things.

The free one-day festival will begin at 12pm and songs will be sung until 10pm.

A full list of performers can be found on the event’s facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/events/442584999270894/
