Rain and bad weather

In the evening thunder roars as if it was the end of the world and the lightning lights up all over the Mediterranean. It is a very beautiful spectacle, I could not have done it better myself.

I have lit my fireplace so it sparkles and crackles cosily from the wood. Thanks to Madden and Selcuk for the wood.

My dog Kerstin is really afraid of thunder and seeks my protection all the time against the evil storm…

So now it begins, winter is here, with alternating rain and sun, and comfortable temperatures almost every day.

Might as well prepare to have the lawn mower ready for the grass is growing like mad, and the good thing is that I do not have to water for now, it will come naturally from above.

I have taken all the furniture in except for those which are at the front and under cover. I must think of my kiss cats that are always outdoors so they can seek out warmer places and protection against rain. I also have three chairs fully prepared with various blankets and towels, and a plastic box where I’ve found that any cat sometimes seeks shelter because then it can also have an eye if someone comes.

Yes, it is different, we still have a green lawn and up there in the north you have the snow, so for you it will be shovelling snow and for us down here we cut grass…
