Prizes on offer in charity raffle

A Spa day and dinner for two at Girne’s Grand Pasha Hotel Casino and Spa and a one-night stay at the Bellapais Monastery Village will be the top raffle prizes on offer at an upcoming gala event in aid of disabled people.

The details were revealed at the latest weekly meeting of the St Hilarion Rotary Club.

They hope to raise funds for the Home For Disabled People project at the event which will take place at the Grand Pasha on Saturday, May 2. It will feature a performance by soprano and Grammy nominee Demetra George Mustafaoglu, accompanied by pianist Rauf Kasimov. Brand-new evening wear donated by Mrs Mustafaoglu will also be among the prizes. Around 100 tickets have so far been sold for the night.
