Photographer launches show

Italian art photographer Brunella Longo was launching a month-long exhibition at Girne’s Art Rooms at The House last night.

Renowned for her ability to capture the essence of her subjects, she transforms physical landscapes into those of the psyche to produce eternal portraits which are disengaged from the past or present.

Artist, writer and university lecturer Umit Inatci labelled it an important show, while organiser Oya Yasarcan Silbery added: ”It is a real adventure for the viewer.”

The show will run until Monday, June 29 from noon until late every day except Tuesdays.
