Oris Beach is one of the many beaches on the coast of Alsancak. It is easy to find, just turn down towards the beach from the Merit Royal Hotel sign on the main road, follow the signs and you will soon arrive at Oris Beach. The area has potential; there is a pebbled beach, a beach bar and restaurant, a differently designed mini golf course, plenty of parking and has lovely afternoon sunshine.
The beach itself feels a bit tired and seems like it has seen better days. In the summer Oris Beach organises parties at the weekends and it feels like that the place is best suited for just that – parties. When we visited there were a lot of families out in the water, so of course it is a popular beach, but we feel there are many nicer ones to choose from in the area.
