Mobile Phone Film Competition

On the occasion of the World Peace Day the Goethe-Institut Cyprus together with the Association for Historical Dialogue & Research (AHDR) and the Cinema for Peace Foundation (Berlin) are calling for a mobile phone film competition. The winning films will be screened in a public awards ceremony on 10 December 2015.

The mobile phone films should be maximum 5 minutes long and should document:

  • Life at the Green Line
  • Where Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cypriots meet
  • Where they are separated
  • What they feel and what they hope for
  • What makes them feel equal and what makes them feel different

All participants must be between 15 – 25 years old.
Prizes will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners!
Please send your MPEG-4/ QuickTime files via We Transfer/Dropboxtogether with a short synopsis in English (max 200 words) and the completed application form by 31st October, 2015 to ahdr@ahdr.info.
