15 miniature historical sites of Cyprus will be displayed at the Tatlisu Municipality Minia Cyprus Museum.
The Minia Cyprus Museum was opened to the public yesterday evening. The initiative taken by the local council is being funded by the Turkish Embassy with technical support from the Cukurova Development Agency.
The inauguration ceremony was held yesterday evening and Mayor of Tatlisu Hayri Orcan said that this project was the product of serious work; he said it cost 270,000TL to complete and a majority of the funding had been made by the Embassy.
Amongst the historical sites are the Salamis Ampitheatre, Hala Sultan Mosque, Buyuk Han, Apostolos Andreas Monastery and Kyrenia Castle.
