Kyrenia to brighten up streets of old Harbour with flowers

The Kyrenia Municipality is planning to brighten up the backstreets of Kyrenia with flowers.

The municipality is planning on planting flowers by the sides of the roads and hanging flowers on walls in the back streets of the Kyrenia Old Harbour.

The project will start once public opinion has been taken. The public have until 17 July to air their views after which the project is expected to kick off on the 21st of July.

Mayor Nidai Gungordu underlined the importance of planting flowers in the back streets of the old harbour for tourism purposes and for the locals who live there.
