Kiyi Fish Restaurant by the sea in Bogaz

New Cyprus Magazine visited Kiyi Restaurant last Saturday, one of the most popular fish restaurants in Bogaz on Cyprus’s east coast. Kiyi Restaurant belongs to the Exotic Hotel and is located right on the seafront. During the day, enjoy a quiet lunch, a fresh breeze from the sea, and a magnificent view of the Mediterranean! In the evenings, the white moonlight shines on the dark water surface and creates a dreamy atmosphere throughout the dining experience.

We step into the cozy restaurant and welcome by the accommodating waiters. We notice that most tables are decorated with a reserved sign, and they are quickly filled up by happy dinner guests who are here to spend their Saturday night with loved ones. Hot and cold mezes, grilled fish and other delights from the sea are being served to the tables. Braided light bulbs from the ceiling sprinkle a warm shine across the room and outside the window we see the bright moon soon is about to become a full moon.

A singer sings Turkish and English songs from stage, and it does not take long until some guests get up and start dancing at their table. A bunch of girls goes forward and dances together in front of the stage. It’s a lovely mood and a perfect Saturday night!

Next time you are in Bogaz, north of Famagusta, be sure to visit this restaurant!
