Kids’ fun continues

Fun events for children during the 25th Gazimağusa Children’s Festival continued in the town yesterday with a History Hunters competition. Next month’s activities start on Wednesday, May 17 with the 6pm launch of a Colourful Women exhibition at the Rauf Raif Denktaş Cultural and Congress Centre.

A kite festival is lined up for Monday, May 22 at 5.30pm at Glapsides Beach car park and Mağusa Cultural Association launches the exhibition Bringing Our Culture Alive at 6.30pm on on Monday, May 29 at the Church of St Peter and Paul. The show will run until Friday, June 2.

The 17th Dance Congress launches at 3pm on Wednesday, May 31 at the Rauf Raif Denktaş Cultural and Congress Centre and a final children’s procession at 5.30pm from Namık Kemal High School closes the season with open-air shows and surprise concerts Namık Kemal Square.
