Harbour Midpoint – A perfect start to the evening

Harbour Midpoint is undoubtedly the most popular place in the harbour. Guests mainly come here for the beer, cocktails and great live music. You can also order a traditional water pipe to the table. The staff is very courteous and always have a smile on their faces. Harbour Midpoint is a perfect place to gather on both as a finish or early in the evening.

– We are very proud that Harbour Midpoint is such an attractive place to gather, says the owner Ziya Cakmak, which also has restaurants Carob Italiano, Harbour Balıkçı, Nargilem Cafe and Harbour Club, all located along the port’s lively restaurant street.

Carob Italiano is, as the name suggests, an Italian restaurant, which also has Turkish dishes on the menu. On the ground level there is a very nice bar where usually football is shown on the big screen. Harbour Balıkçı is a charming fish restaurant with calamari, prawns and fresh fish on the menu. Harbour Club offers simple dishes like kebab and salads while Nargilem Cafe is the place to go to for a good cocktail or hookah.

– Service and a good customer care is everything for us, we always want to see a smile on our guest’s lips, says Mr Cakmak. We have many tourists who come back here every year and we usually get good feedback from them. Everyone agrees that the location of our restaurants is unbeatable. The view of the harbour and Kyrenia Castle is something special.

Mr Cakmak daily meets tourists visiting North Cyprus. He always gives them tips to go and see historical sites such as St. Hilarion Castle, Buffavento Castle and Bellapais Abbey. Of course the nature reserve Karpaz is also on the list of what a tourist should see in North Cyprus.
