H4C hosts alternative rock concert

Thursday live music sessions are back on the agenda on September 1 at the capital’s buffer zone venue, the Home for Cooperation Café at Ledra Palace.

The free-of-charge night features Atoutaleme, a Limassol-based four-piece alternative rock band and the Gazimagusa peace-themed, six member reggae band Bunfyah in a joint outdoor concert between 8.30pm and 11.30pm.

The band is named for a Jamaican patois phrase to strongly denounce something, ‘Burn a fire’, and features musicians Hasan and Cengiz Bereket, Halil Atarkan, Cagdas Özusen, Onat Davulcu and Alp Ergüven.

Atoutaleme features lead singer and rhythm guitarist Panyiotis I Georgiou, lead guitarist Stathis Hadjicharalambous, Andreas Kerveros on bass and drummer Alexandrer Papadopoulos.
