Contemporary German photography goes on show on Tuesday at the buffer zone-based Goethe Institut, near Ledra Palace. The 12th annual Good Prospects (Gute Aussichten) show launches at 7pm with a presentation by Aras en, whose work is featured alongside eight other young German photographers.

A spokesman said the images had been selected by a nine-member jury and had a common theme: Quo vadis, World? Reflection and Utopia. Awards will also be presented to the winners of a nature-themed photo competition at the launch. The show will run from noon to 6pm Monday to Friday until April 22.
