Golden Beach, Karpaz

You can easily point out Cyprus’s “panhandle”, on a map of the island. Karpaz peninsula it is called and you get here by going as far to the east as you can on the island.

Here you will find the finest and most preserved beaches in the whole of Cyprus. People come from all parts of the island to visit the beach and have picnics and fun in the sun.

If you want to stay overnight in Golden Beach, you can either rent a tent or bungalow in one of the many cozy places here:

Burhan’s Golden Beach
Big Sand Beach

Tent camping costs around 30TL and bungalow 100TL per person. All places have a restaurant and toilet/shower.
