German language month November

The Cyprus Teachers of German Association, the Goethe-Institut Cyprus and the Embassies of Austria, Germany and Switzerland will be opening the “Month of the German Language” at Faneromeni Square in South Nicosia tomorrow with a street festival between 11am and 3pm.

The festival will be accompanied by the “wonderful sounds” of the Windcraft Band and “delicious culinary delights”.

Attendees will be able to test their German language skills with a “fun quiz and win great prizes”, take an ad hoc German lesson, learn about studying and travelling to German-speaking countries as well as finding out information about German courses at the Goethe-Institut Cyprus.

A wide range of events is planned throughout the month including theatre plays and film screenings, concerts and lectures.
