Football academy opens its doors

Girne American University’s football academy will stage an opening free-of-charge try-out day for children aged six to 15 next month on their artificial pitch.

A spokesman said that young players would get an introduction to the academy which offers regular training for a monthly fee.

The event is scheduled for midday on Saturday, February 6 and players wishing to join in should phone 0533 840 8687 or 0533 879 5212.
