Ex-zumba instructor ponders on opening ‘Dance for Dogs’ group

A Zumba-inspired “Dance for Dogs” group, to help with the care of stray animals, is being set up by an Ozankoy expat.

Former zumba instructor and animal-lover Becky Gale came up with the idea after hearing of disturbing cases of animal abuse.

Mrs Gale has suggested holding a free weekly class, at which participants would be asked to make a donation which would be handed over to a veterinary clinic to fund treatment and medication for strays.

Mrs Gale said: “I have not yet decided on exactly when or where the classes will happen, so I want to spread the word to see how much interest there will be in order to act as quickly as possible.

“If there are any zumba ladies or others who would like to socialise and keep fit in a fun way, they can private message me on my Facebook account.”

Anyone interested can contact Mrs Gale through her “Becky Mark Gale” Facebook profile, where details of classes will be publicised.
