British pair showcase North Cyprus Scuba diving in UK

British divers Richard Reading and Peter Newey showcased North Cyprus Scuba diving at the UK’s biggest get-together for divers, Dive 2015 at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre.

The two divers plan to start up their new partnership, Deep Penetration Diving, at Oris Beach next Easter and have won the support of Gem Tours and the TRNC Tourism Ministry. The October 24-25 weekend show featured 250 exhibitors, free try-dive pools, one with rebreathers, and talks with dive experts.

Mr Reading said: “There has been lots of interest and we are raring to go.”

The diving pair featured in Cyprus Today last month when they rescued a Turkish submariner’s wallet from Girne’s new harbour during the August 30 Victory Day visit. Click here to read the article.
