This small, authentic, Cypriot bakery, Boylu Restaurant, has been at the heart of Lefke for 15 years. It serves light meals and always freshly baked bread and Turkish coffee. In the simply decorated café, one can sit and watch life passing by.
Izmigul runs the bakery and her son Hazar age 13 gives a helping hand sometimes. One of the specialties is a sort of chicken and cheese pasty, and if you want something sweet tahini bread is a must! For 7TL you get a bread that is enough for 2 people. Turkish coffee costs 1,50TL. When we were there Izmiguls sister Gulcan and her little boy Jien were visiting.
