The annual beauty contest Best Model of North Cyprus recently took place in Lapta west of Kyrenia at the hotel Chateau Lambousa. About forty young people competed to win prizes in categories such as “Best Face”, “Best Body”, “Best Friendship”, “Best Smile” and “Best Model”. The first prize was a scholarship to study at Girne American University.
The jury consisted of several famous people from Cyprus and Turkey. Television crew and the press were there to cover the popular event. We at North Cyprus Magazine took the camera and photographed the evening from beginning to end, from the models getting ready, till when the winners were announced.
