Bayram in Gaziveren

The Tözun family have gathered in front of the grandfather’s house in Gaziveren to celebrate Bayram. A three-day leave which marks the end of Ramadan (it’s a bit like our Christmas celebration).

Relatives from all over North Cyprus has come to hang out. We are invited to enjoy fresh lemonade made ​​from orange, and bread baked in the morning in the family’s own stone oven.
