The Almond Tree Restaurant in Esentepe

In the heart of the Cypriot countryside, surrounded by olive and pine trees, with a beautiful view of both the Five Finger Mountain and the Mediterranean Sea, lies the popular The Almond Tree Restaurant. This is where food lovers from all over the island come to enjoy favourites such as lamb shank, shrimp in garlic sauce and a wide variety of meat dishes. One of the house specialties is the local kleftikon that almost melts in your mouth and the weekend’s Sunday Roast should definitely not be missed! The vegetables come straight from their own local farm. One is also very conscious when it comes to recycling.

Many of the guests are tourists who fall for the authentic and charming environment that can only be found in Cyprus. The restaurant owner, Idris, is equally known for his charisma and warm reception as for his outstanding international dishes that are always presented with a creative touch. Here, you feel immediately like family. Settle down with a drink in the bar while the table is neatly set, as here the whole experience is alpha and omega. At the end of the evening you should definitely order the creme brulee or a traditional cheesecake.

You will find The Almond Tree Restaurant in the beautiful resort of Esentepe east of Kyrenia, with closeness to the sea and not far from the popular Korineum Golf & Country Club. Adjacent to the restaurant is also three bungalows available for hire.

Reservations are recommended.
