Akıncı: “As long as there is will, Cyprob can be solved within months”

Turkish Cypriot President Mustafa Akıncı said that he didn’t want to give an exact end date for the peace process but added that the settlement could be reached in months.

“I said that as long as there is a will Cyprus problem can be solved within months. I believe this as we are determined for a solution. So we all have to work hard for this end” said Akıncı. Akıncı was speaking during a meeting with a delegation from Cyprus Turkish Hoteliers Association led by the Association’s president Hüseyin Aktığ.

Speaking during the meeting Akıncı said that the tourism sector, which is one of the main pillars of North Cyprus’ economy, will be the main sector which will benefit from the solution of the Cyprus problem.
